Water analysis
THE Mamanuca Environment Society has collected 44 water samples from its member resorts and sent them to the Institute of Applied Science for analysis. It is the society's second water analysis for the year.
Music treat
RESIDENTS of the aged in Lautoka will be treated to a pre Christmas function today by a band. The band that started three years ago has committed itself to entertaining retired citizens.
Happy vendors
THE Sigatoka Vendors Association has welcomed steps by the town council to renovate the market and public toilets. Association president Deo Chand said the council had stuck to its word by carrying out the facelift.

THE Ecumenical Centre for Research, Education and Advocacy is in transition with director designate Joseph Camillo. Mr Camillo will take up the position from January 1 next year.
