THE Suva City Council is awaiting results on the quality analysis done on water from Nabukalou Creek by the University of the South Pacific's Institute of Applied Science, says SCC spokeswoman Jillian Hicks.
The drainage pipes from nearby shops would also be relocated, she said.
"As regards to the development of water sports and activities at Nabukalou Creek, a water quality analysis has been carried out and we are waiting for the results. The Public Works Department intends to relocate their (shop) pipes by-passing Nabukalou Creek to cater for the water sports proposal," she said.
There would be updates to the development next week, she said.
