ORGANISERS are currently waiting on four districts Nasinu, Tailevu, Labasa and Nadi to confirm their places in the upcoming 17th Men's and Mixed Netball Inter-District Championship (IDC) tournament.

Fiji Men's and Mix Netball Association vice-president and Suva coach Gabriel Qoro said only two district teams Suva and Lautoka had confirmed their place for the annual tournament on November 25.

Qoro said defending champions Suva would be the team to beat in this year's tournament.

"Our preparation has been going well and we are expecting a very tough competition this year. We know it is going to be quite hard to defend our titles but we are looking forward to the challenge," Qoro said.

"We have 12 players registering for each of the U23, Mixed and Open Masters teams while they have 14 players in our main senior team.

Qori said their players were not deterred nor discouraged by the thought of defending their Inter District Championship (IDC) titles away from home.

The Suva contingent consists of 50 players and five officials.

They will defend their open, mixed and under-23 titles.
